Breaking News: Dead Body Found Wrapped In Sheets
Police are investigating after a man's body was found wrapped in sheets in a London street this morning, Sky News can reveal.
The corpse was discovered behind shops in Kingsgate Place, Kilburn, said crime correspondent Martin Brunt.
Police have sealed off the area and are carrying out a fingertip forensics search of the scene.
The body was spotted by a member of the public at 7.10am.
Scotland Yard said an investigation has been launched by its Homicide and Serious Crime Command.
A spokesman added: "It's not clear at this stage how long the body may have been in situ. Officers are still at the scene investigating.
"It is being treated as a suspicious death at this stage."
Police are refusing to reveal further details.
A post-mortem is due to be carried out later to find out the cause of death.
